Hot Creek:A classic spring creek with an abundunt population of wild brown and rainbow trout. This water is designated as "barbless flies only, zero limit".A challenging stream for the expert and a great learning experiance for all ability levels
San Joaquin River:Breathtaking scenery and a great mix of wild rainbows, browns, brooks and goldens.Catching all four species in one day is known localy as the "Grand Slam".A true wilderness area and a great place for the dry fly enthusiast.
East Walker River: Back in form as one of the premier trout streams in the great state of California. Challenging but rewarding the "E-Dub" offers a great oppertunity at trophy size brown and rainbow trout. As a classic tail-water fishery conditions are determined by water releases.
Lower Owens River :Our favorite winter fishery.Nymph fishing is the most consistant technique but dry fly fishing can be awesome in the spring and summer months.
Upper Owens River:A dramatic improvment in fishing here was evident during the 2003 season. This is the direct result of the special regulations now in place. If these regs. remain in place the river should return to trophy status in the next two to three seasons.
Crowley Lake:Well known for it's hard fighting browns and rainbows Crowley offers the fly angler a great chance at trout in excess of 20".Our 16' Tracker boat handles two anglers and guide comfortably. We have developed a number of very effective fly patterns for the lake and our signature fly "Stevie's Wonder" was used by Joe Kearne to win the 2002 Double Haul In The Fall.
This is just a sample of the waters that we fish, as the number of great flyfishing spots is too numerous to list here.Contact us for up to the minute information on local fishing conditions and we can guide you to the latest "hot spots" or check out our weekly fishing report.
